Write to us

Questions about the planner, the site, or anything on it — we read everything.

What to expect when you write to us

Messages reach a small team, not a call centre, so replies usually take two to three working days and sometimes a little longer around holidays. Every message is read by a person. If your question is about an order you have already placed, Amazon will resolve it faster than we can — they hold the order record and we do not.

It helps enormously if you name the specific page or section you are asking about. “The document checklist in section three” lets us answer properly first time; “a page in the planner” usually costs one more exchange before we can help.

Things we are glad to help with

  • Questions about the planner — what a section covers, how much writing space it gives you, or whether it suits a particular situation.
  • Corrections — if something we have published is out of date, unclear, or wrong, we would rather hear it than leave it standing. Tell us which article and which paragraph.
  • Suggestions for future guides — reader questions are where most of our article ideas come from. If you looked for something and found no straight answer anywhere, that is worth telling us.
  • Bulk and professional enquiries — hospices, funeral directors, estate planners and community groups sometimes want multiple copies or a tailored version.
  • Press and interviews — we are happy to talk about end-of-life planning, why families avoid it, and what actually helps.

Things we cannot help with

We publish general information, and there is a line we will not cross. We cannot tell you whether your will is valid, how a particular estate should be divided, what a specific probate court will require, or how any of this applies to your own circumstances. Those answers depend on where you live and on details we do not know, and getting them wrong causes real harm to real families.

For anything that turns on your own situation, speak to a solicitor or attorney, a licensed financial adviser, or an accountant qualified where you live. Our website disclaimer sets out the limits of what we publish.

You may find the answer faster here

A good share of the messages we receive are already answered on the site. Our frequently asked questions covers what the planner includes, who it is for, and how it differs from a will. Our articles and guides go deeper on documents, probate, funerals and digital accounts.

If your question is about how we handle your information, our privacy policy explains what we collect and why. If it is about how we make money, our affiliate disclosure is short and direct: some links earn us a commission, it costs you nothing extra, and it never changes what we recommend.
